About the School

OUR PRIORITY IS THAT YOU LEARN THE LANGUAGE.

EXAM SUCCESS IS THE RESULT.

Bokos English Language Institute was set up as a school of excellence in the teaching of English as a foreign language. Its founder, Kostas Bokos, having been born and brought up in England and studied and taught at Oxford University had a vision to bring the highest standards and a new ethos to the teaching of English in Greece.

We are located in the heart of Athens within very easy reach of either the metro or the central bus terminal.

I believe the school is a very good choice for learning English, because its focused on quality, by using  modern educational methods.

Studying with us

The maximum number of students in our classes is 9. Exam preparation classes take place twice a week but we also have another, innovative option in which classes are taught intensively on one day a week. When you register, we advise you which option is best for you and why. Our method is based on tasks. Class discussions, newspapers, novels, and the BBC are at the heart of our lessons.

The lessons are conducted in a friendly but at the same time quite careful way so that everyone gets the proper attention depending on the needs they have. The teacher was always available for questions.

Our teachers

Our teachers' priority is to help you impove your English. They are here to give you practical advice and encouragement so that you can achieve your aims. At Bokos Language Insitute, teachers are considered to be the school's strongest asset. They have huge experience in preparing students for exams and are examiners themselves. Very importantly, our teachers possess either the Cambridge CELTA or DELTA, which are the most widely respected worldwide teacher training qualifications. They are dedicated and willing to assist you any time you need their guidance.

I really fell glad because I met this teacher in this time of my life. I think that he is a charismatic person. He can transfer his knowledge to his students. He motivates his students to study.
